Place was clean and the temperature was comfortable inside. Those are the positives. There was one other table with customers, 2 people, and my mother and myself were sat near that table. Seems like it would make for more convenient service from the waitress. For some reason other than taking our orders she was nowhere to be found. Never asked if we needed drinks refilled which we did, and took forever to bring me back my change when I paid. Oh and she conveniently brought me back 6 cents too much, so she could make it $25 in change she handed me, basically cornering me into leaving her a $5 tip. She's lucky my mother was with me or the tip would have been "do a better job". The food...as to be expected...not worth the price. Maybe it would have been better with a better server. But hey if you want loud music, terrible service, and a waitress who nearly panhandles for tips, this is your place!
We entered the restaurant in Columbus, GA today at 11:10am. We saw the employees across the other side of the restaurant sitting at a table except for a few we could see working in the kitchen. We stood and waited to be seated for about 10 minutes. Even though we made eye contact with the employees at the table, no one came to seat us. There were no other customers in the restaurant. If there was an option for zero stars, I would have picked that!!! Longhorn sure was much better with much better service!!
We had a coupon for a free dessert up to $8. Ordered an $8 milkshake off the dessert menu, afterwards we were told that it wouldn't come off the bill. Not only that but our milkshake had chunks of ice that had to be chewed and even some whole cubes. So had to pay for a dessert that wasn't even good or made properly and we otherwise wouldn't have ordered. Our bill would have been over $60 without the shake. I felt management could have knocked the shake off since we spent plenty as it was and staff should know what's included in their promotions. We won't be back to this location.
We went in there with full excitement as we haven't had Friday's in a while. We waited to be seated for more than 10 minutes. Which would be fine under certain situations, but we were patron party number three in the entire restaurant. Then once we finally got our table we ordered appetizers right away with our drinks. Got our appetizers fairly quickly hence the single star. Then we waited for another 45 minutes for a side salad that came with my meal. Another 15-20 goes by and the food shows up. Wasn't the type of quality flavor you would wager 1+ hour on to say the least. What's more is it made us feel sick to our stomachs for another 6 hours afterwards. Thanks Fridays!
Food was excellent. Our server kept our drinks full, but didn't hover. Meat was cooked exactly to order. The Super veggies were excellent. Overall, a great dining experience.
