This hole-in-the-wall local favorite has the BEST Mexican food! Located in the old Payson Opera House with a fun atmosphere. The #15 combination plate is huge and gives you a taste of all the best flavors. Great chips & salsa, cheap prices, and food that keeps you coming back!
Been to this place for years, one of our favorite Mexican restaurants ever! They have the best enchiladas (we ask for flour tortillas because we think those are even better) and if you love Sangria order one, they bring it out with a chilled glass with ice, lime, a maraschino cherry, and the glass rimmed with salt. SO good. I really like their chips and salsa as well, however for some weird reason they won't let you have a to-go container to bring the rest home. They have to throw it away anyways so do they want me to pay 5¢ for a box or what? It seems silly to me to say no to a simple request like that, especially when they just get tossed in the garbage. Besides that I really love their food and the service is okay. It's either good or fair, but never great. Their prices are more than fair though so I'm okay with it. Definitely recommend.
This was our first time there. The salsa was very good. The tortilla chips were just okay. Our food was really quite tasty. I liked the old time atmosphere and the wait staff were really friendly. I would recommend it.
The place was packed but it only took a minute to be seated. Food took took longer than expected to get to our table but it was really good! Also the our server was very nice and professional!
It took a small amount of time for them to get our food to the table, which was a little longer then me and my family expected. But the reason why was because a large group of people were eating. Other than that our stay was fantastic and the food was amazing, and the servers were very friendly. Mi Rancharito is amazing!
