I have stayed at an KOA in Fresno owned by Sam. I highly recommend it when passing through. Tall trees, grass and the staff was always there. Never missed the mail and his son was great to talk to. Bbqs and social gatherings are a bonus. I can not recommend the Visalia site as the staff is not professional or nice. Been staying here for work a year and have had nothing but issues. Howard - Owner of the park - Has tried to physically fight me when walking my dog. Richard - staff member - was there to calm him down. Continues to harass me when walking my dog. Greg - Maintenance Manager - Approached me yelling to get my dog on a leash, when my dog is not mean. Dogs get off the leash in the park and there have been no problems as always. Nice thing about the park and the one star is the free electricity. There are numerous site on the way to the mountains that have better amenities. The location and noise are a big thumbs down. Enjoy the giant trees : )

Not the best location, but a good stop on the way to Sequoia NP. Friendly staff and the pool was a great place to relax after a long day. Wasn’t very comfortable with the security after 5 young men jumped the fence and used the pool. Our campsite was next to the trash area so we had quite a few flies, but it is close to the bathroom. Not bad, but it doesn’t compare to the other KOAs we stayed at while traveling.

Went there on Thanksgiving! Was so impressed at how many people were there & how the manager got everyone there to bring a dish to a Turkey Day potluck! They went all out! It was amazing to eat with so many people from all over the world! Way to go & the turkey & ham was delicious (furnished by the Manager!)!!!

We had a great time. Eunice at front desk was super friendly & helpful. Facilities were fine. Pool was nice because it was hot during our stay. Close to sequoia & kings canyon. Quiet & clean. Good location right off highway. There are definitely ants, so don't leave stuff outside. Maybe bring ant killer with you.

Would give zero if I could. Nice guy running the place and the good marks stop there. The route to the KOA leads through a very run down, dirty looking little town. Upon arrival my husband was told not to drink the water. My husband did not want to drive several more hours to another campground so as he set up the trailer I read the "undrinkable water " details provided at check in which stated the nitrates and bacteria levels in the water were not safe for babies and pregnant women and said they should not drink the water. My thought was "so, it's safe for all of us HEALTHY people and our dog"?? My next thought was, "don't hook up the water and don't run ANY of that water through our trailer" and that is what we did. Had no water for the 1 day/night, got no discount. Hope they get their water issues fixed. Clean water, you know, the little things in life.
