Just west of the Sequoyah Greenway and adjacent to Sequoyah Park, sits a unique passive park wrapped in a wrought iron fence with stone entryways. Inside is a walking path, stone shelter and benches. Outside is a decorative concrete fountain with seating. Talahi was the name of the original subdivision developed by Robert L. Foust in the early 1900's that now is Sequoyah Hills. Talahi Park was originally named Old Papoose Park. The Talahi design set a precedent for the architectural scheme that flows through Sequoyah Hills. Take a moment to bask in this tranquil setting. Stroll peacefully along it's walking trail. Sit and ponder at the fountain, and enjoy the history and artistry that this area inspired.
