Sprout Brook Park was offically bought by the Town of Cortlandt in 1986, and it has been a functioning recreational facility for more than a decade. The park is open year round. Offering nature trails, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, a playground and softball fields, soccer field and a Dog Park.
