Fantastic place to go trout fishing. The camping is great and you can even rent a cabin if you call early to get one reserved. Nice little store and a restaurant that serves all you can eat. The area has some beautiful scenery and there are all kinds of things to do. Couldn't want a better place fora outing with the family.

Do you fish fpr trout? If so this is the park for you! Fantastic trout fishing awaits nestled between bluffs, with a bait shop and dining lodge if you get hungry. A large campground with full ammenities is just past the dining lodge. Conservation stocks the waters frequently with trout and agents as well as park rangers are happy to assist in any law issues or needs you may have. Park staff is also very happy to help out!

Opening day is like nothing ever experienced before. Huge 8 to 10lbs trout being caught in every part of the park. Campground was packed but was still roomy with very nice people running everything. The campground restaurant was very nice. Feeding a lot of people for opening day was no small task. Love going in the fall too it's so beautiful there. With many other parks available no others bring to the table what is available at Montauk.

Gone here a couple time with our camper and it's campgrounds are very nice. Some sand on them because of the last flood but it better now. Very nice clean bathrooms, showerhouses, and lodge. Love trout fishing down there and it's easy for waders. Love going to the hatcheries. Thoughs are cool. Great park. Going back soon.

Just a really neat place to go to trout fish and walk around. My grandfather use to come here years ago as it was his favorite spots to fish.
