Little Beaver State Park

1402 Grandview Rd

Little Beaver State Park is a 562-acre day-use park that features many outdoor recreational opportunities. At the center of the park is an 18-acre lake open for fishing year-round. The lake has many types of game fish including bass, crappie, channel cat, bluegill and trout. Paddle boats and row boats, canoes, and kayak rentals are available seasonally.

The park also offers five reservable picnic shelters, playgrounds, geocaching, and an activities building. All trails are open for both hiking and biking, but bikers should use caution while riding in high-use areas.

Little Beaver Campground opened July 1, 2011.  Thirty of the 46-site total sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The thirty sites and access road are gravel based and these sites have water and electric hookup.  Plans include paving of roads and sites.

Beautiful campground. Very clean facilities. The fishing sucks though but very cool they have bait vending machines...and we were reprimanded for playing music at our site at 1 in the afternoon because some people like to sleep during the day. Lol..all in all though we felt safe and had beautiful wooded views at our tent site.

Just checked in today. Great site for our camper. Walked around and most sites are good. Definitely will return to this campground. Men's room is spotless.

Awful service. We were inexplicably given this horrible site having booked months in advance. There were so many other sites available and they refused to move us, saying they were booked. It was a weekday at 9 pm and nobody ever showed up and the other sites remained empty. We may as well have been inside the washroom. The lights from that awful building kept us up. Thankfully we were just there one night.

First, we went to the office to get advice on the trails, since we are from Arizona. The lady running the front desk had zero knowledge of the trails or where they began. We wanted to go mountain biking and the trail was HORRIBLE. Glass bottles sticking out of the ground. Briars brown over the entire trail. I would not suggest this park to anyone.

Had a great time with my daughter and caught several small panfish. It was a great place to fish and talk to other outdoor enthusiast.
