We arrived at night, so I agree with the other reviews... It was a little difficult to find our site. We ended up coming the wrong way down a one-way. However, if you arrive during the day, the owners will escort you to your site. They're fantastic! Bathrooms were clean. Pay for breakfast inside the shop, then grab a table under the covered dining area out back. Gravity fed water so water pressure is low. Swimming pool, playground, cabins for rent, tent sites are separate from the RV sites, packed gravel, smells great with all the pine trees!

My wife, my dog and I stayed one Tuesday night. I easily made the reservation online a couple of days in advance. We rolled in around 9 pm, and the office as closed, but our reservation details were posted on the front bulletin board, with the info about our tent site, a map, WiFi details, etc. It was really nice to have all of those details just ready when we arrived. The camp isn't to far from the highway, but the car sounds were pretty quiet. We all slept soundly. In the morning, we had free coffee, and I bought a fresh made chicken burrito. It was huge and tasty! The lady at at the front desk was super friendly too. We would definitely come back!

So, I hate to leave a terrible review, but we just didn't have a great experience. First, the gentleman that checked us in was very nice, and that is why we at least gave this place 2 stars. When we pulled in, my kids saw the playground and were super excited. However, two minutes into playing, my three year old was in tears because she was COVERED in pea sized burrs. My wife's shoes had so many in the soles they were ruined!!! We rushed the kids back and started cleaning them up. That's when we noticed our RV site, which was extremely unlevel, was completely infested with black ants. Needless to say, my one year old got some ant bites. She was literally standing at the steps of our RV and they swarmed all over her. The place doesn't seem to be well kept either. The gravel road around the place is in desperate need of grading. I could go on and on but this one of the worst RV places we've been to. Maybe we just had a bad experience, but we won't be back.

This is a very quiet KOA campground, even though I-25 is nearby. Last night, the stars in the sky were putting on quite a show. It's conveniently located near Las Vegas, NM, and there is a gas station / convenience store nearby as well. I would stay here again if passing through the area at some time in the future

We had booked a site online which wasn't suitsble for our motorhome. Our fault. The owner was on the desk at our arrival and fixed everything for us. She was so helpful. Very clean restrooms.
