Some tent sites are better than others. I got a very shady one. I had shade (by 2 thick mulberry trees) all day long over my tent. This was much appreciated as the temperature was hitting 100 during the day. The site cleaning is a bit lousy, though. A clogged shower. At the end of my stay I had the electricity (for which I paid) disconnected from my tent, without being informed. This was particularly annoying since I was just doing some urgent work on my laptop.

We've been coming here for a number of yrs, and feel it's gone down hill a bit. Still fun Splash Pad, and pool, but our cabin, couldn't lock door. Trash in common areas does not get emptied often enough and window screen next door, been laying there since we arrived. Maintenance needs to kick it up a notch.

Cute cabins. But head of house cleaning is a rude lady who falsely accused me of smoking in the room then charged my credit card 100.00 not worthh taking a chance and getting over charged. I stayed there many times before and did not have a problem. But aftet the last time I will never stay there again. It is near Nothing at all not even the lake or river. Lady at front desk is great and knew i did not smoke in cabin.

Showing up after 9 days of forest camping to this campground was a huge blessing! Clean, showers, a bar, a pool AND a free ice cream social (on weekends). Our trailer was big and they were able to upgrade us to a larger site at no charge. We were treated so wonderful. Will definitely be back.

I would give this tired, old, dirty KOA a pass. This is not your Dad's KOA. Gonna keep it short. They broke a water pipe days before I checked in on a Saturday. Without informing me but taking my money for full hookups they had arranged to turn off the water Sunday from 11:00am ( coincidentally check out time for their weekenders) until 5:00pm. NO WATER! Did not stop people from using non flushing toilets (disgusting!!!), no showers nada. My one full day there! (No, no refund for those full hookups). When the water was turned back on it flooded my site from taps left on but not checked from higher ground. This place is unlike any KOA I have stayed at before, dirty, sort of run down and cheap! (Wifi allows only 1 device, you have to remove current device to use another) . No cable. Very efficient in charging big bucks for basically a dirt site with darn few amenities other than a dimly lit bar. So it is now over a month later. You would think someone from this place or KOA itself would contact me with aplogies, refund, credit for another visit, anything! Wrong...crickets!!! Know who you are dealing with!
