Great place for swimming and family fun. Looks like it would also be a fun camping area. Very clean restrooms. Swimming is free and although Visitor Center closes at 5 pm, the beach/swimming is open until dusk (around 8pm this time of year). Sandy beach area where kids can play in sand but man does the sand get everywhere. Luckily they have those little outdoor shower stations to wash it out of hair and off of feet. Picnic tables and grills for quick bbq if you bring stuff to cook. Very small nature center as well with a small handful of animals. Not very crowded usually which is also a plus.

Great family spot. Other then a shortage of tables I have no complaints. Restrooms are clean and stocked, the beach is nice and the area is clean.

The camping spots are VERY nice. Each has a paved parking spot, water, electrical hookups, a picnic table, grill, and a heavy duty fire ring! The bathroom facilities are modern and clean. I Highly recommend this place! Oh, don't forget to bring your own firewood.
