Extremely sharp, harpin, turn entering Fox Fire road if coming from the interstate. Pull-through sites are fairly level...site #7 is just off the road around the campground and is only covered partially with stone. If it's been raining, it will be a mud pit. Nice, easily accessible hook-ups. Just enough room for a full size truck, a mid size sedan and a 33' travel trailer.

Were there for a one night stay and our site was large and level with a nice concrete patio. Pretty quite with only noise from the Interstate intruding a little but not enough to keep us from sleeping. Friendly hosts and helpful.

This is a great spot right off the highway if you are looking for a place while traveling through to the east coast. The cabin we stayed in was very functional, a little outdated, but suited us well for what we needed. The water heater in our cabin must hold a small amount of water, we had to wait a while in between showers for my husband and I to get a warm water. We were greeted and welcomed even in the middle of the night by the sweet owners, we will use this place again in the future.

We stayed one night and weren’t overly impressed. The “gravel” sites actually have little to no gravel. They are muddy messes, that we are lucky we did not get stuck in. They are close together with nothing more than picnic table. There was plenty of road noise from the highway, AND trains coming through. Certainly not worth $44/night off season, and not a Good Sam park. Used to be that the name KOA meant you were guaranteed a decent park. Not anymore.

The campsite is very clean, and very neatly organized. We arrived well after the office closed, found how to pay quickly, and set up camp. Firewood was wet, but it had recently rained so no big deal there. Camp staff we talked to in the morning was friendly and seemed to be very "protective" if you will - was asking questions about who we were, where we were going, etc. Definitely a lot of families staying here. I docked two stars because of the location. This campsite is right by the highway, and you get noise all night long from trucks driving by. It's a nice campsite but very noisy all night long.
