Smallish park but amazing views of New York City and the George Washington Bridge. A nice little hideaway. Plenty of parking. A few revolutionary war exhibits highlighting locations and how weaponry was used at this location. Went in June and there were gophers and chipmunks all over the place. Nice place to spend an hour or two or bring a date if you're in the area. If you're looking for trails, bigger park, bike paths, etc. check out the nearby Palisades interstate Park.

The location is a bit aged, but it is a history buff's find of a lifetime. It is chock full of historical information on the American Revolution. It gives you a first hand account of George Washington's battle against the British and time line of his travel from there to Valley Forge. Considering we can travel the same distance in a matter of hours it will give you an entirely new perspective on how modern technology has changed our country. It truly makes you appreciated what they went through during that time. I suggest that you visit Valley Forge after this historical site.

Great hiking spot with a view of the GW Bridge over the Hudson. The only con is that the park closes before sunset on some days. Definitely worth visiting .

Great views of the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge and the New York Skyline. The park is clean well maintained. Also great to checkout the historical soldiers’ quarters and canons.

Very peaceful area along the Hudson with great views of the GWB & NYC. An ideal place for a little hike as there are some nice trails in the area. You can hike all the way up the Palisades from here since the trail system is about 30 miles long. You wouldn't expect this area to be here since it is not easily spotted from the bridge or even the local roads.
