Beautiful park. Really pretty waterfalls. The park is well maintained with pretty grass and rocks and shady spots. Nice overlooks. We were there for an hour and a half along the river bank, could've easily spent another hour or 2 there, but we had to keep moving. We got to see some fish jumping the little fall.

Well, it's five stars compared to other sites here. They've done an amazing job of developing Falls Park since I first remember going, which seems very appropriate for the namesake of your city! The sidewalks, overlooks, and ability to free-roam still are what make the park something special for everyone. The gift shop and observation tower are very nice also. The winter lights are amazing! In the summer, it's also well-lit on the lower falls at night, but I look forward to more development of the upper falls. It is buggy, from late May through September, so plan for that, and please, please watch your kids and make sure that even the older ones understand the power of that raging water!

This area is so beautiful. The falls are gorgeous. The smell in the air was distinct yet forgotten as we checked out the river, falls and rocks. Great area for pictures. Easy in and out parking lot. 5* plus in our travels. Recommend.

Falls Park is nice to walk around, take in the view of the falls and take some pictures. The layout of the park makes it easy to get right up next to the river. Much of the park is handicap accessible. There is plenty of parking. If you are looking to take a bike ride or go for a run, Sioux Falls Bike Trail goes through the far East side of the park. There is a small cafe onsite if you want something to eat or a quick cup of coffee. Be sure to check out the ruins of the Queen Bee Mill on the East bank of the falls.

Fantastic park on the Big Sioux River. We had Ana amazing time just wandering all around admiring the falls. The tower was really cool too. At the top we could see for days. I went around and read each of the markers and thoroughly explored the surrounding area while my kids meandered all over the park trying to find ducks. Definitely a must see place if you’re ever in Sioux Falls.
