This 122 acre state preserve may be accessed through Tower Rock, Fallen Rock Wildlife Area or the Iowa River.  The property has many unique attributes including the native sandstone bluffs that in some places are more than 100 feet high. This area also offers many rare species of plant life including native white pines, as well as yellow and white birch trees. Fallen Rock State Preserve offers fishing, hunting, and hiking along the Iowa River.

The Wildlife area covers 204 acres of land. An eagle’s nest was located in the northern edge of the area, started in 2003 and became active in 2004

Features

This park has fishing, hunting, hiking, native sandstone bluffs, and many rare species of plant life including native white pines. An eagles nest can also be seen.
