Great with park with lots of fun surprises and secret passageways for the kids, musical toys, balance toys, science facts, area for the littles, slides, nice shady picnic area. My kids love it. My only complaint as a parent is that it's a little hard to keep good track of your child as he/she scurries through all the neat secret passages. It's even harder if you are trying to keep an eye on multiple children, but e love this park anyway and come often

In my childhood I would always come here to be retarded with my bros, and hurt myself on the stupid spinny things that I absolutely adore. Definitely the best playground park in Utah county because of its size and also its rustic feeling of discovery, I would say. The place is always hosting events and there is always something to do in discovery park. For a long while near the bottom of the playground structure there was a broken board, so I was able to climb my tiny body inside the inner structure that kids weren't supposed to be in, which always made it much funner. Sadly because of city repairs the board was fixed, so at least they repair the broken things (eventually). I once remember hearing a trickle down the orange slide near the bathroom at the volcano, and then I saw a liquid come out. Apparently someone was peeing down the slide; so here is my warning when you go to discovery park: D O N T go down the orange slide. I always played hide and seek here with my bros too, which was pretty cool. Plus the weird talkie thingies on the wall are cool. Yeah, its pretty cool. Oh yeah and baseball is hosted pretty regularly, last time I was there. They have big pretzels; those are pretty cool. Definitely a 5/5 because the park is a cool place to hang out.

The park is big and has an amazing maze of attractions. It is also a little old and worn. Because it is made of all wood, some of the wood is warped. Playing tag in this park is awesome. Just watch very young kids, both to protect them from harm and not to lose them.

Played tennis on the nicely-lit, but slightly-cracked courts. It was a close match, but in the end my son beat me in the tie-breaker. The player in the court next to us stole one of my tennis balls though. We were looking right at him when he picked it up and thought he was going to just throw it over the fence to us. But he just kept it. Can you believe it?

Loads of children, supervised by parents, running all over the place. The day was beautiful, which was probably why there were so many people. The wooden area is dated and is scheduled for major repairs. Tennis courts and covered picnic area. Large grassy area and parking. When the play structure was built, there were quite a few corporate sponsors. I wonder if they forgot about the maintenance aspect of building the nice multilevel structure.
