I drive down to precipitate in their basic 101 fly fishing program. The instructors were super nice and helpful, and the rangers are the friendliest. A beautiful park, with a peaceful stream. I went for an easy hiking trail called the Fern trail. Lots of ferns and hemlock.

Many many trails....most are not ADA accessable due to the nature of the area...sandstone and dense foresting....great for families of all ages with trails from 1 mile - 5 miles...public fishing access

My number one choice for a quick hike if you live in Columbus. The hemlock trail looks like you're hiking through Middle Earth. Go after (or during) a rain and you'll probably find some cool forest fungi!!!

I have visited this just one time and hiked about 4 miles. It feels more like a State park than a Metro park in both it's size and beauty. It's the prettiest Metro park I've seen.
