The dinosaur tracks are great! Pay the ranger $5 when you get there to get a day permit. It's a short hike around the lake and across the dam to see the tracks. Fishing, boating, picnicking, and camping are also options. Not many facilities. Restrooms are outhouse style.

Nice state park. Clean with showers and bathrooms. Nice quiet place except when the fish derby is going on during the second weekend of June. If you like way out west, this is for you.

Walked across the dam to the spillway and the dino tracks. TOTALLY worth the trip out. Good info and display there. The path was also a nice easy walk (with restroom facilities at the trailhead) and we saw LOTS of wildlife along the way (kingfishers, rock squirrels, etc).

Interesting man made lake and walk to see dinosaur tracks. It costs to do the walk and the visitor centre was closed so we couldn't get cash out to pay correctly - this was on a Tuesday afternoon.

This place is amazing. You don't expect to see something like this when driving through the high desert then you come around a curve and there it is. Beautiful scenery, clear water, cheap camping and more stars at night than you can count.
