Awesome place!!!! a lot of things to do and if you are staying at one of the lodges or cabins or camping there they are all free!!!! The Bald Rock hike and View at the end, the pool at the top of the mountain, Alabama's highest point, the lake is amazing and a lot of fun, tons of hikes, the gems/fossils mining station by the entrance. We took a lot of amazing pictures here. Great time to relax, enjoy nature and have fun.

Camped in the Lower Campground in our motor home. Long easy pull through site. Sporty ride up to the park! Bathrooms in the campground stayed exceptionally clean throughout the whole Memorial Day weekend (must have been a good combo of courteous campers and great staff!). Lots of good hikes and nice little store with convenience items and firewood.

One of the most beautiful parks in Alabama! Lots of activities, and a short drive back to town if you really need something. Curvy mountainous roads to the park itself. Only reason for 4 stars is the prices/wait times for cabin rentals and such. Overall great place!

LOADS of fun! Words can't explain the fun we had. Went up to the lookout, saw Big Foot, are at the restraint, bought a sticker for the car. Very nice people. Working and visiting. We hiked and camped in the Forrest but the park has everything from cabins to hotel to camped sites to primitive camping.

I loved this place! Our time there was very relaxing. It was not too crowded. There's things to do for all ages. The hiking is at all levels of difficulty. The food at the resteraunt was amazing and moderately priced. The scenic drive to the park was stunning with places to pull over and take the scenery in. I highly recommend visiting this park and I will go back.
