Bridal Veil Falls State Park is located near milepost 28 on the Historic Columbia River Scenic Highway and is accessed off I-84 at Exit 28.

Travel west on the Historic Columbia River Highway about 3/4 of a mile to the entrance of Bridal Veil Falls State Park. The park offers a nice parking area, picnic tables and restrooms all within easy walking distance from the parking area. Nice grassy areas afford visitors a chance to stretch a blanket in one of the laziest parts of the Columbia River Gorge.

The park is situated in large timber stands; the area was a natural choice as a logging haven once upon a time. The park features two different trails: an upper walking/interpretive trail and a lower hiking trail to the falls (120' tall). Both are not to be missed.

Great falls! The trail to the falls is a downhill with some stairs (and then uphill with some stairs on the way back). That portion is about 2/3 mile round trip and there are some benches along the hike. There is also a loop to some lookout points that is nice and relatively level. Make sure you keep on the paths so this spot stays amazing. Also, while I didn't see poison oak, there is signage indicating that it's around so keep an eye out.

What a hidden gem. Everyone sees Multnomah given the size but these are great and fun too. Well maintained, plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and awesome views. Hike isn't too strenuous either. Might not be wheelchair friendly.

Gorgeous waterfalls after a relatively short hike. Those less sure-footed should be advised that there are areas of inclines and areas of narrow dirt paths. Parking fills up quickly especially in the Summer. Unfortunately several other related trails are still closed but this is still well worth the trip.

Love this park. I am unable to make the walk to the falls but the scenic walk along the cliff top, fenced for safety, is beautiful and walkable even with my hip and knee issues. It is paved so even those using walkers or wheelchairs can enjoy the views. The flowering camas was an added bonus today! (4/30/18) The park also has accessible bathrooms.

Hidden gem close to Multnomah. Less crowded but with more up close view of the falls. Lots of parking. Restrooms are well maintained.
