This lake is nice. It has great fishing year round and a nice campground that provides a variety of different spots with different amenities. The rangers were very nice. However, most of the year it is cold and windy with no trees around the lake itself. The lake has lots of rocks and fish hooks on the bottom. For swimming, it's not a great spot. If you do come however, bring swimming sandals.

PROS: Traditional campgrounds or camp on the beach next to the lake. Nice bathroom and shower facility. CON: No apparent patrol by Park Ranger after 10pm, so quiet hours are not enforced.

Clean and a great place to hike. Sites are well organized. Visitor Center has yet to be open on our two visits.

Very nice! Besides no water at camps for the first few days due to upgrades we loved it. Highly recommend. NEED TROUT!! 👍

The Tiger Muskie is a beautiful fish! The young woman working the convince store before entering the park has great knowledge about how to angle for Trout and Muskie.
