About Us:

Blue Springs Ranch was founded by JR & Vicki Isom in 1987. Their dream began with 1 cabins and undeveloped land. Taking that dream to the extreme, 30 years later there are 30 cabins and over 200 campsites on that once empty land. Now, BSR has a very large extended summer family! Each of our guests find their favorite spot to spend time at the resort. If you are still discovering yours, don't hesitate to call us with any questions. Our BSR Team is always available to assist you with your vacation planning!!

We all wish our guests the best experience possible. We each thank you for being such great customers. You are the reason we return each season. We hope that our home becomes a summer extension of yours! Blue Spring Ranch is your Home for Summer Fun!!

We have had some good times here over the last few years. This stretch of the river is not at all challenging but offers some nice scenery. My one complaint has to do with cheaper priced camper cabins. They are simply a couple of beds in air conditioning and we have enjoyed them in the past. The USED to be amongst trees and a short walk from the restrooms and showers. They have been moved to open ground, not a tree for a 100 yards, a plastic port-a-potty is near but you'd probably want to drive to the showers. We felt we had to upgrade which made our two nights $212 more expensive.

Excellent place to camp, however you like to do it, float and enjoy the outdoors with a small or large group. We love the furnished cabins...reduces what we have to pack there and back. They are nice, clean, scenic and always a great time when my family goes on a float. Highly recommended.

This is my normal float location. My crew normally does at least one overnight stay at their location annually and several day floats throughout the season. The rates for watercraft rental are reasonable. The cabins are always clean and well maintained. I have been several float resorts in central Missouri and I think this one is the best.

My family and I had a great time. Josh, who was our trail guide for our horseback riding, he did a great job keeping us entertained on the trail. Very knowledgeable about the horses. We did the 5 mile float from Campbell Bridge to BSR, the crew did well getting us there and unloaded. My family had a great time camping with BSR. My only complaints, the trash left in the fire pit and the sites near the lower beach area were difficult to distinguish between them and the site markers were hard to find. We will return.
