The mansion tour was a great activity on a very hot day, it has AC! Paid $6 each plus young kids free. Very interesting tour given by very knowledgeable park staff. You can take pictures but no touching anything including the library books.

Such a great experience! Went to school here and never went to visit. 20 years later I finally go see it and can't believe all the history.

Wonderful way to step back in time. The annual farm festival held at the museum is the best free event for families in Chico in my oppinion.

My favorite house in Chico! Home of the founders of Chico, John and Annie Bidwell, this beautiful Victorian has been beautifully restored and preserved so that visitors may experience the home much as a guest would have when the original owners still reaided here. Whether you live in Chico or are just passing through, a tour of this house, and the visitor center/museum, is definitely worth your time!
