The actual camp site itself was clean and spacious. The amenities were very new and super well maintained. The showers/ bathrooms were individual and private. Didn’t have to worry about someone walking in when I wanted to take a shower. Not sure how good the WiFi is at my site, it’s pretty far from the office, didn’t bother using my electronics. Casey, the gentleman who checked me in and handled my call earlier was super polite and helpful. He’s an awesome representative for the site and KOA as a whole. Will totally be staying here again if passing through.

Very nice, clean. Unfortunately when we checked in our site was all muddy due to rain for 3 weeks, however the owner came over to the site I we figured we were going to move, but nothing was available, so the owner brought up 3 trips worth of stone to cover the mud pit. Worked great, then we moved to a different spot in 2 days. Ice cream social, pancake breakfast, treasure hunts for the kids. No complaints. Would definitely come back.

Good level spots even though it is mostly on a hill. Bath house was very nice. Site had a gas grill, a fire ring, nice table and chair set. Sitting area was nicely paved. Good internet coverage. Friendly staff. When it rains the roads became very muddy as well as most walking areas. Great place to stay if it is dry.

Love KOA at bellefonte/state college! Any koa really, is always fun to camp at! This place has lots to do for the kids, and adult too! I mean, an ice cream social and a pancake party - what more do you need?! The staff is super friendly and helpful! Definitely wear durable shoes to walk around the campground as the stones and gravel take a toll on your feet if wearing sandals or flip flops... The kabin my family stayed in was really great, had our own bathroom, although they have a wonderful bathroom facility in the campground. A deck with a propane grill, and the campfire patio was on point! We even had a cute little crick behind the site! Definitely worth our yearly weekend visit!

This campground is very disappointing especially for a KOA. If you have a large RV book a premium site. We wish we had. A large unit with a full sized truck does not safely fit on a regular site especially if you are fussy about scratches on your truck. Kids and dogs on leashes are everywhere and walking very close to your RV and truck. Sites are literally on top of each other. I read other reviews, but they didn't clearly convey there is NO privacy at all. You can clearly hear your neighbors talking, and everyone here wakes up before the sun rises. I guess they need to start work on their smokey fires! The campground facilities aren't too impressive. Interior roads are in poor shape. Campground is not particularly inviting for taking walks since it is rather steep in areas and the roads are quite rutted. Pool looks okay but very crowded. People at the office are very nice; unfortunately the campground isn't it.
