Great park! My dog had a great time playing in the sand and water. Very well maintained. Allows dogs to get in water and play. Lots of shade. Fresh water supply readily available plus there's a hose to wash your furry friend off before leaving. Very clean! Everyone picks up after their pet. There were about 10 other dogs there at 430pm with plenty of room. Walking path aslso outside of this area along with another fenced dog area without the beach access so if you don't want to get wet. Best place we found in this unfortunately non dog friendly coast! We drove 30 minutes to get there. We'll go back!

Good playground. Great view. NO SHADE!! most kids can't touch the playground because its so hot to the touch. Some of the people are a different story. There is always a guy walking around with headphones on singing badly out loud. Creepy. They tore down bathrooms so you'll have to go to senior center. Dog parks nearby. A lot of parents bring their kids by between 10am and 2pm.

This park has lots of opportunities for people with different interest including separate dog parks and a dog beach or dogs do not have to be leashed but they can enjoy the pleasures of a day at the beach and sand and running around. There are areas for people to play as well here and the community center where dogs allowed. There is lots of open space where dogs must be kept on leashes and it's an ideal area for large families or groups to play have an event a picnic or simply sit under a tree and view the beautiful Waters of the Pensacola area Bay. Whenever I'm in Pensacola my dog always enjoys this park.

Just being there brought a flood of memories and I am looking forward to a future experience with family and Will post more. Easy rental of pavilion, very nice people, lots of work happening on the grounds, beautiful view of Texar Bayou, and a Senior Center too! I met a group of enthusiastic members. Go check it out!

Brutus (my bully) and I absolutely love to go to this park! The people and the dogs there are always so friendly. They have a place for Brutus to run and play with other dogs, they have a spot for small dogs specifically, they have a dog beach! And they provide tools and bags for me to clean up when Brutus makes a mess! This park is such a cool place to visit. All of these reasons are why I HIGHLY recommend visiting this park for locals and out-of-towners! Nobody looks at me funny when I get down in the dirt with my dog or theirs; although I don't see others doing that but whatever I have fun and so does my boy!
