Bass River Resort is not a large corporate Missouri campground but a family resort.

There is no better camping experience than being able to set up your tent right along the crystal clear water of the beautiful Courtois! Our spacious resort can accommodate groups of all sizes and we offer a variety of camping options including primitive, full hookups, water and electric hookups, and electric only campsites. We provide a picnic table and fire ring at each site. Our campground facilities include four bathhouses with coin operated showers and flush toilets, three pavilions, johnny-on-the-spots, dumpstation, camper's outpost, swimming pool, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, fishing and hiking trails!

Nestled in the Ozark Hills, our large campground has been set up to accommodate our guests by providing Family Sections where the quiet time is from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and an Island Loud Section where quiet time is from 2:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m..

Most campsites will accommodate 10-18 people per site. When setting up a camping reservation you may pick a specific site or simply choose a site when you arrive, based upon availability. However, specific site requests are subject to change pending reservation confirmation and changes. Bass' River Resort is spacious, clean, full of trees and grass, surrounded by forests and water - there's not a bad site to be found!

I went to Bass river resort for a float trip with a large group. Registering ahead of time was very important it was extremely busy and we would not have had a good time if we hadn't reserved rafts a week out. The bathrooms we're fairly dirty but it was a very busy weekend so it is somewhat understandable. The store and registration area was packed but when we got to the front it was a pretty quick process. The bus boarding service was fairly disorganized but we ended up making it it was just a bit of a wait. The river was beautiful and the raft was nice all in all a good time.

I don't typically write reviews but I felt obligated to let people know my story. I reserved a beautiful campsite next to the river. Was even able to fish while I cooked. Turns out it was right next to a drop in/ take out spot for floating. When we came back from floating on Saturday we found that our campsite was gone through. My tackle box was pilfered. Our box with all our amminaties was gone through and the lid thrown in the river. A bunch of our stuff was thrown in the river. Of course it rained while we were out so it made it worse that everything was left open. Worst of all my truck was vandalized! The hood was keyed a couple dozen times. "Camp at your own risk." Also the hurry up and wait for a bus. Having to bum rush a bus when it pulls up just to get on even though you were waiting for an hour. Standing in the isle of an overcrowded bus. Yes I know that's all float resorts but it still sucks. I will not be back and I will not recommend this place to anyone. Could be a really nice place but lack of any leadership or customer care is very apparent. If you are a 20 year old looking to get as drunk as possible with no personal property, then this is your place. If you care about your camping experience and own stuff or have a family then you may want to consider a different resort.

I love this place! We have been coming here at least once a year for several years. The camp sites have enough space and the whole area is taken care of (clean, beautiful). The bathrooms are even clean. There's fun in the water also, if you want go hang out along the river or go floating. This place is a one stop shop.

Very nice campground, stayed there two nights in June of '18 for a family reunion. The tent sites are real nice and so are the RV sites. The cabins are nice to but some of them so far away from the campground that's is a little pain getting back and forth if the rest of the family is at the campground. We had the River's Edge event center reserved for both days and that was real nice to have the meals in and we sang in there quite a bit too! Had real fun kayaking! Having your own kayak is definitely a plus, even though the rent fee is all that bad. And there's a pool here to that is nice. The folks in the main office are nice and friendly people!

We had a great time on a family camping and floating trip. The resort was nice having pretty much anything you might need at the store. During all my interactions with the employees I found that they were very friendly and polite. The fireworks display was top notch with a perfect view from our campsite (515). We will be back again without a doubt.
