Awesome sites if you're not in "the field". Friendly & helpful staff. West showers and restrooms always clean. Great restrooms. Showers updated a bit. But shower locks (easier for kids to use), temp consistency, and ventilation need an upgrade. Pebble Beach was awesome.

One of my favorite campgrounds! We try to come a couple of times a year. Super nice staff, clean showers and restrooms. Nice spots, some right on the ocean. The bus to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park stops right at the front entrance. Bonus is the pies baked by a local couple that comes right by your campsite!

Great place to send some time and makes an awesome base camp for everything else that there is to do. My wife and I were there a little out of season so not to much going on at the campground but don't get me wrong it is a busy place. My only two issues were that we were close to the main road leading in and out so you have quite a bit traffic noise. The second being that the campground was so quiet that we felt uncomfortable having a radio on outside. Again, we were there out of season. These issues are minor and will definitely not keep me from returning or a perfect rating. The staff was great, bathrooms clean and updated. Cute little cabins if your not a RV person. Oh, almost forgot the best thing don't miss the sunset orver the water!

You're paying for location, plus amenities for kids. This is a very busy campground. Nevertheless, lovely setting right by the ocean. Far north end of Mount Desert Island, so convenient to both Bar Harbor to the south and big-box shopping to the north. We were in site 131, a pull through. Was open and sunny - no shade, but still only got 2 of 3 western arc Dish satellites since those satellites are low in the sky and the trees between our site and the ocean blocked one of the satellites. Nice patio with fire ring with built in grill, plus barbecue and table. Site was level enough, and long enough for MH and toad. However, exiting was too tight to hook up at site, so had to do that near dump station. WiFi, cable, and water pressure were all good. Nice dog park. On site outdoor lobster restaurant was pretty good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful - definitely some of the nicest RV park people we've ever met. Mosquitoes were kinda bad - but repellent works well enough for that. Since we are retired and don't have kids, we might opt for a more adult-oriented campground next time. If you have kids, they will love this place.

We had a reservation at another KOA down the road. They put us in a site that wasn't what we were told. No 50 amp service, no cable TV and the water in the whole park was out. We drove to the Oceanside KOA and they were very nice and luckily they had a site for us. Nice people here and nice ocean views!
