It's a great hiking area, except one thing. The leash law is posted but people let their dogs run free. One ran at me like it was going to attack me and the owner walked slowly to us, making no big deal of his dog chasing after people. Dangerous situation. So be careful. Nice serene place except dog's leash law is not enforced.

The best local scenery in a national park in the area. The only reason for a 4 star review is the limited areas intended for people to gather and sit down, but great for photography and beautiful walks in nature.

Beautiful park, tons of trails. I have been hiking here since I was a child, some of my earliest memories are at this park.

Well, let's see.... it's a park... - does it have trees? ✔ - does it have benches? ✔ - does it have water? ✔ - does it have trails? ✔ - did I enjoy myself? ✔ Yup, I'd recommend this park, my dog would too.

Great for hiking and biking. Fishing here is tough. Heavy matted vegetation over 80%. Punching rigs and frogs may produce a few bass but be ready to not catch anything. Dries and nymphs can produce in the non weeded areas.
