There are numerous trails in this vast state forest but the trail markers are few and far between and are not very visible at times. Some of the trails are also overgrown and a little hard to use. The lake views are stunning and the tranquility is priceless. With a little more care from NJ State Parks department, Allamuchy will be a very memorable place for the people of Garden state.

I have found some amazing trails here. This place is teeming with life and is a small swath of paradise to escape to from our hectic modern reality. No hunting.

It was a 5 Star until they get banned swimming in Tilcon Lake. It looks like a flat grass land now, with “NO” signs EVERYWHERE.They “tore down paradise & put up a parking lot” The last surviving Place to swim with our dogs...GONE...for what?!?!?!

This place is great for hiking. It's great for hanging out at the village which is closed but you can sit outside.
