Excellent choice for a stunning waterfall about 25 miles North of Hilo. It's a state park so there's a $5 charge for the parking lot. TIP: Park on the grass directly before entering the park for free on either side. The .6 mile loop to the water fall and back is a moderate degree of difficulty but the waterfalls are breathtaking. Take your time and enjoy all the floral and fauna this park has to offer

The pathway to see the falls are paved and easy to walk. The falls look grander after lots of rainfall but this is tough to time. There is limited parking in the official parking lot but it's easy to find parking on the street leading up to the park. It costs $5 to park in the official lot which includes admissions. Otherwise, it's $1 per person.

This place is the Costco of waterfalls! For the low price of $5/car or $1/person, you can see four different waterfalls! The park consists of a 0.4 mi paved loop with a few staircases, making it a nice place to get the hiking feel, without strenuous hiking. There are lookouts at each waterfall, as well as some restrooms at the parking lot. Overall, a great way to see some beautiful waterfalls!

Really easy walk for anyone unless you can't handle stairs. The falls were not flowing very fast when we were there but were still impressive. Would really like to see them with bigger water volume, for sure!

The loop trail is paved, a short easy walk with the opportunity to see multiple waterfalls including the beautiful Akaka falls. A gorgeous walk, so lush and so green The parking is $5 or just park along the road outside of their lot and pay the $1 per person to enter the park. There was a what appeared to a park worker helping with the pay box and collecting cash. There are bathrooms at the end of the parking lot.
